Worked well while painting baseboards and doing yard work. The thicker foam definitely helps reduce pressure on the knees.

I bought this mainly for gardening because kneeling outside for long periods was starting to hurt my knees. The foam is thicker than I expected and actually stays supportive instead of flattening out quickly. I also like the built-in handle because it makes carrying it around the yard and garage much easier. After using it for a few weeks, I have also started using it indoors while cleaning lower shelves and bathing my toddler.
